Det var Truman som både hindrade Patton och sedan MacArthur att slå till mot kommunisterna.

Pattons ord stämde under Svenska stormaktstiden, under Napoleonkrigen, under Krimkriget, under första och andra världskrigen, och de stämmer än idag. Tragiskt att ett folk som ryssarna aldrig blir bättre.
Kanske speglar en del av Putins misslyckanden.
